    That's cool. You dont want any part of the enclosure to be over 94 or 95 tops.

    If he wants to get even warmer than the 90, he'll burrow under the paper towels towards the heat.

    But if under the towels is 98 degrees, he's in for some trouble:(

    My cages are the same way, I keep my hot spots at 86 for my Blood Pythons. On top of the paper, it may only be 82 or so. But if they go under the paper, they get to the 86.

    Make sense?

    okay sweet. The cool side is warming up slowely but surely...its at 78.6 now

    As long as the cool side is above 75* your good. No point inside the cage should get above 95*.

    But yeah, if you live in florida you are going to have to open up that screen top a little bit (lucky, most people have crazy issues with humidity and have some crazy contraption on top of their screens :P).
