    I think you could add a few more fake plants and such so the snake has more cover in a big enclosure. You could also try covering the back and sides with dark paper, aquarium background, or foam core board. That can make it look really nice and help your snake feel more secure. Other then that, nice job!

    ok yeah thanks.... i was gonna get some back ground today but I totally forgot! And i did get some plastic plants but the metal was sticking out and it was sharp so I tore the flowers off...

    it's been around 2 1/2 hours...the temps are 79 hot side 78 all around. Is this heater working??????

    The accurite probe should be inside the enclosure. under the substrate and right on top of the UTH on the glass. That is kind of strange that it isn't heating up. Do you have it hooked to a dimmer or thermostat? Can you double check that the outlet it is plugged into is working correctly?

    no the thermostat is under the tank the acurite is on the bottom of the tank inside the tank.

    it's plugged into thermostat...outlet is working green light on thermostat meaning its working

    Try setting your thermostat higher. What kind is it?
