    You can pick up either a food or postal scale, just make sure it's a digital one and weighs in increments of 1 gram and up high enough for whatever adult size snake you will own. Major department stores stock them, as well as office supply stores or you could shop online at ebay or reptile basics or old willknot scales (as well as other online suppliers). A good digital scale is a snakekeeping must.

    That does look like a very young snake. It seems to still have that orangey look young hatchlings often have. When you purchased it was it from a breeder at the show and what info came with this snake?
