    I think your snake is more likely to be in danger from the dog rather then the other way around, haha.

    Thanks to all who responded, and the good news is that she has been found!!! My 4 year old told me not to worry because she would listen for Viper to "whistle." This morning while getting herself dressed she called out to us "I hear Viper in my closet, she just whistled at me." I go into the room and looking DOWN from the top shelve in the closet is Viper, with a "Hey, when do we eat around here?" expression on her face!!! I have NO idea how she got up over seven feet to the top of the closet in the bedroom down the hall from her room, but I was thankful to find her.
