I had not get a chance to work with him until he got out of his first hibernation. When he first came out, he was super flighty and hissy.
Less than a month later hes about as aggressive as a potato. LOL

he likes to explore so he wont stay still, but hes not fearful of me anymore. great animal!

*Update*
Just some growthshots for you guys. No exponential growth like some people claim, but i prefer steady growth with my animals.

Growing nicely!

Are you feeding everyday? If wintered, they can reach 3 feet after 3 years. 3 feet in a year and a bit if you don't winter.

They are so cool. I should post some pics of my pair...

He hibernated for 7 months this year.

I feed everyday, One main course and then an evening snack of crickets/superworms. Roaches will be available when my roaches figure out how to do it right!

I feed him in the bin, However, he doesnt eat it all in there. So i put the remainder in the tank so he can be full all day. Idk if this is canceling the training, but id rather him be full and happy. :D

Of course he sheds the day after the contest. His sides are white and nice but his head looks brownish.
