I just pull out what I need the night before and place them in a ziploc bag. I pull them out of the freezer on my way out the door in the morning for work, and place them in my room. I get home from work 8 hours later and the rats are good and thawed out. I hit the heads with a hair dryer for a few seconds and feed em off. Works great week after week, and they're not soaking wet :)

I place all of my rats in a large ziplock, and place the ziplock next to an oil-filled radiator. After all are room temp, I place the bag in hot water for around 5 - 10 minutes.
