Then why not put up an add saying you will give him away to a good home for free with you paying half the shipping charge? Or the buyer pays the whole shipping charge but gets the snake for free.

    CRAZY
Re: I hate to do it, but
Is there anyway you can reason with your wife? The fact is yorkies are generally hunters of low-lying creatures. So if there was a confrontation, the odds of the yorkie getting hurt are slim. But, I geuss whats done is done and I can only assume you've tried to reason with your wife already. But like someone said before, get rid of the snake because it bit someone is the same as getting rid of the yorkie if it bit someone. As many people have said yet again, try to get it to someone on this forum. Everyone here is knowledgeable and knows about the safety net that is, ball-pythons.net

If he did that then he might end up getting someone who would take the snake and either a) neglect it b) eat it or c) both. Unless of course you mean on this website.

I agree, I would put him up here with maybe a small adoption fee to at least ensure he will get a good home. I would not put him on craigslist or anything like that for "free". There are some sick people out there that would jump at the chance for a free snake to do who knows what to. I see whackos on there all the time "want free snake, any reptile, don't care, you no want i take". And what, film a feeding to post on YouTube or to perform sick experiments on? You could sell the supplies separately elsewhere if you needed to, without worrying as much who it goes to.

Yes I am keeping memphis. Our daughter talked mom into it. So we will see if I can't get him to settle back down.
