    This is 1/2 thick plexiglas, its soild. You can't bend or flex the sheet. She got out because I didn't have any weight on it and she could just lift it up.

    I would permanently glue one half down and hinge it in the middle that was you only need one latch on the end.

    I've actually thought about adding a hinge to one side I just haven't had the funds lately (damn lay-offs) but That is my next project!!:)

    Glad you found your snake! I had a boa escape(about 10 yrs ago) and was found in the dryer. I had to take the dryer apart to get her out. I'm glad we didn't use the dryer with her in it. She was sitting on the drum where the belt would have injured her or worse!
    About half of my co-workers have been laid off. I've been making 25 to 40 hr checks for the past three months. In previous years I never saw a week without at least 10 hrs overtime. Out of unoffensive words on that subject!

    You know your a herper when.... Furniture is upside down and on the other side of the room... and there was no party the night before...
