    CRAZY
Re: Just Observing the 1st Shed Adventure
Another suggestion when having trouble with shedding is get a towel wet and wrap him up in it. When he wriggles out the skin should peel off fairly easily, you can repeat if all the skin isn't off. Also, pre-scenting is good when trying to get him to feed. Clip some hairs off the mouse and maybe put them on top of the tank. Or, assuming you feed f/t, thaw the mouse/rat in a bag inside a bowl of hot water, and leave the bag open on top of the tank. (This will work bets if you have a mesh lid, in which case you should put damp cloths on top of it to keep the moisture in. Though judging by what you have said you seem fairly competent and smart when it comes to those kind of things:D) Or, I bought bought stuff from my local pet store called "Mouse Maker," its a synthetic liquid mouse hormone scent that can be used to entice feeding on f/t mice. I Open the bottle and leave it on top of the tank while thawing, then I put it on the mouse. Hope this helps and all goes well with your first shed. :)
