My bp started doing the same thing for a few days now. Got him in March and he usually stays in his hide on the warm side. Before he used to only come out at night and explore his tank and poke his head at the mesh top, but now he's out almost all day kinda switching back and fourth from the warm side to the cool side but mostly spread out between both. Even after he eats he'll just hang out, outside of both hides. He's very calm, hasn't ever been aggressive and handles well. I usually don't handle him at least 48 hours before I feed him so he's not stressed. This is outside his usual norm which is why I was concerned.
