Females can go off feed and soak etc, this does not mean they will go, there is no guarantee.

They can develop follicles build up and than they can re-absorb them.

    Did you palpate your female?

    Did you witness an ovulation?

When I palpate her I'm not sure if I'm doing it right but I feel nothing and no I haven't witnessed an ov.

What size tub are you kepping it in?

I am not trying to hijack your post... I am just concerned about your animal. Please let me show you why I am so concerned. Please look at your snake that you say is "around 1200 grams"

My girl is 675 grams (weighed 5 minutes ago.)

Obviously pictures can be deceiving.... This is why I am requesting you post a picture with something in the background for a size comparison.

But he just said his female never went off feed....so thats defenetly a sign...and ovulation can happen as quick as in a day and can be missed easily...but you will notice your female larger...they also tend to look for cooler sides when they ovulate...

Look the truth is that this animal stands a less than likely chance of ovulating. So all you can do if you chose to breed this animal is wait and see. I think for the record that it is wreck less to breed a 1200 gram female but I know people who do it and have done it successfully. I just don't get it because the clutch size of a 1200 gram female isn't worth the risk you put on her. Just because you see some signs of some thing she could still drop a clutch of slugs. My suggestion is one I am sure you don't want to hear and please don't take it the wrong way because I mean it in the best of intentions. Do more research and more reading and look out for the long term health of your breeders. This will take you much further than what you are trying to do right now.

I am sorry I am responding to the OPer of this thread to save confusion
