    When snakes try to heal they shed lots. It actually looks like it's healing it self as the picture before was of a burn.

    Continue the betadine soaks with neosporin, call your vet back and insist that antibiotics be ordered. Yes the new pics look bad, but with any burn &/or infection, it will look worse before it looks better i.e the browning scales on the belly.

    This is just me but I never leave my animals, when at the vets I stay in the room & question every procedure.

    That is on the tail end of really bad... AKA possibly fatal.

    You need to get a new Vet ASAP.

    do you have a thermostat on that heating element in your enclosure? if not GET ONE. and Measure those temps immediately. DO not guess.

    Get a digital thermometer and place the probe RIGHT above the heat source.
