He's not going to get near $75 each for CH babies... I buy them at reptile expos every year for $10-$15 a pop..

I know. I didn't get into it with the vet, but we were both of the mindset his asking prices were ridiculous. Oh well, hopefully he'll be able to handle the mess he's taking on for himself. Time will tell.

I apologize, I didn't realize that was against TOS

OP, hopefully the friend will work out and these babies will get the help they need

If he's getting evicted, he may just have no choice than to offload them, whcih may just end up being an animal shelter anyways, who will probably adopt them all out anways. A quick fix would be to get fosters for them immediately.

Sounds like the vet jumped the gun a bit, without realizing that the guy wanted to sell the snakes, instead of just needing good homes. If he has a friend who will house them, then hopefully he's all set and you can move on with your new pastel.
He might get $75 each for them selling them to the public. After all, the pet stores get upwards of $100 each some times. It's his problem though.

Our local pet store has baby Balls for $49.95 right now. I think it was a combination of the guy getting upset over having such short notice and the vet trying to help him get out of a bind in a hurry. Either way, realistically, there would be no way I could realisitcally take all of those babies in and provide the care right off that they need. If I had weeks to plan that would be different. Hopefully his solution works out for him and they won't be neglected.
