I am not sure why their ears do that. I dont think it has anything to do with the tattoo though. Sometimes his ears are normal or sometimes they are both up. They cant make up their mind.

I did look up his tattoo information and from what it said on there he has some famous racers in his history. His Grand Sire has recently passed but they still have vials of his sperm they are selling for breeding and it is a crazy amount of money! I tried to join a Greyhound forum just to learn how to read everything but they have some crazy rules about email domains and I dont have an email address that fits their requirements.

And thanks for all the kind words. He is a wonderful dog! I would recommend adopting one if you want a nice chill dog that follows you everywhere! I am so happy with him!

I have borzoi and their ears do the same thing. Most of the time the ears stay down, but I have noticed that many tend to do that more as they get older. It almost feels like the ear leather gets stiffer with age. Starm, my 10 year old has 1 ear up most of the time he is outside. When he is in the house and bored they are both down.

I like the borzois too or really any sight hound for that matter. Most of the time Max keeps his ears laid back. Unless he perks up at something they are normal. His ear leather seems nice and soft but I dont have anything really to compare it to.

Does your greyhound like to RUN? :D

My cousin has a greyhound/black lab mix she got from a rescue.. and boy does that dog love to just BOOK IT whenever she is given the opportunity to just play out in parks.

Really?! How funny, it must just be something about the breed. It definitely gives them character!

He is an awesome dog. I really didnt know how much I would like him. I mean I like all dog but I really like this one. He is up pretty close to the pitbulls now..lol.

He doesn't really run too much. He does post poop zoomies, and when he is excited in the morning he is hopping around but thats really it. Most of the times he is slinking around.

My greyhound is the LAZIEST dog I have ever seen. She is staying with a friend, since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs her size. Tiny has her own recliner, and the only time she gets out of it is to go "potty" and greet someone at the door. That's it. I have to play chase with her to get her to run sometimes. Very lazy... But 100% my baby. :D

As soon as I'm done with school, and I can move out of the apartment, I'd like to adopt another greyhound. They're like those Lay's potato chips or something... Can't have just one!
