Same old lions get the number one pick and screw it up. there is a reason that every great qb they draft ends up sucking no line. Now I would have gone with the linebacker he was by far the best player in the draft and defesnse wins the lineback and an offensive line where what they should have gotten. Go Pittsburg thats a franchise that does it right.

I think the Packers did pretty well for themselves yesterday. Adding BJ Raji and Clay Mathews to their defense...

Been reading a lot of articles...Tyson Jackson may not be a sexy pick....but he WILL be the most consistent and immediate impact player out of the top 3 picks. He won't demand a large contract...he just wants to play football. He will open some serious holes for our LB core to make plays.

    Good Job Chiefs. :salute:

I was surprised Jaguars didn't pick Crabtree! I thought it would be a great pair to Holt. A power rookie under the wing of a seasoned veteran. I just can't seem to feel out Jaguars draft pick scheme... like getting rid of Leftwhich and passing up on Quinn.

But, hey, I can't complain about Monroe. He was my top OT pick! But then, another OT on the 2nd round... dunno. I guess we shall see if they finally do something this season.

Shooooot....last year the Chiefs selected a DE from LSU with their 1st rnd pick. This year....Chiefs select a DE from LSU with their 1st rnd pick. Oh ya...we did not have a 2nd rnd pick...but our 3rd round...we pick a DT, who will most likely play the other DE in our 3-4 scheme....

....wonder if we go DL AGAIN in the 4th rnd.

Nice to see the Chiefs get an OL to add some depth...and even in KC's backyard. As far as our other picks, I'd say I'm happy with them. Its nice to see them stacking up on defense. Its a best friend to a QB.

Overall, the draft was not as exciting as I expected, other than the Clev/NYJ swap for Sanchez, there were no big moves.

Oh well...at least the hype is over and we can focus on how these draft picks do!

CB's and WR's I'm happy now they just gotta pan out. I think Stafford will be the real deal Sanchez is going to be another Matt Leinart.

i hope you're right emilio.......for some reason i have good feeling about detroit's current staff - like they may actually know what they're doing.

either way, i'll always be a fan... i'd just prefer to be a less disgruntled one.
