    I personally wouldn't put vaseline on it, I'm not sure that wouldn't soften the egg and make it weak there.

    vasilene would close the pores of that part of the egg. That wouldn't be a good thing.

    Agreed. Vasoline would stop the air flow from the inner egg to the outside, essentially choking it out.

    Not a good idea.

    if i knew it wouldnt hurt the egg id do it but i think ill hold off for now, kinda as a last resort kinda thing or until some else chimes in w/ more info on this. thou... i coulda swore i read that some have used antifungal creams or was it poweders? hmm lol

    but ty for the advice
