At the hearing

the guy from america somoa,was honestly,IMO trying to understand what was going on,as everybody else was happily lost,but my god,,when he asked that question,and the guy from FWS was just FLUSTERED,and its his organization that puts them permtis in place,,amazing,,purly amazing...

lol yea it was like he didnt understand the question.

Didn't the Fish and Wildlife guy say that it was up to individual states whether or not it's people could have certain exotics, that there was no National guideline?

I agree in general that this is a good thing... but... this guy already co-sponsored the bill! I can't imagine co-sponsoring something like this if you don't understand it enough to know if it has to do with plants or animals.

I guess we can hope that he was asking questions because he was re-thinking his position?

kind of watching pieces of it again,,maybe just maybe,he got slightly confused with all the questions involving Kuza,or whatever that plant was,could of kinda of confused him a bit,as it at points even had me kinda wondering.

And if i'm correct,it was the guy from notre dame who spoke up to answer the permit questions posed to the FWS guy

Yes, this thought had occurred to me. It was obviously that the point of Capps's questions was to get certain answers on the record, and had nothing to do with her wondering what the answers were. Considering I thought one of those answers was obviously wrong, I even wondered if that bit had been planned in advance.

glad i'm not the only one who was wondering if it were planned,,or an underlaying motive to that...very..disturbing

So any idea on how much longer we will have to "sweat it out" until they either leave us alone or kill us? Its interesting on how they can throw some crap onto paper but have no clue as to what the heck they doing :mad:.

this intial record will be open for 10 days,for written questions and answeres between the committee and the witnesses,then,,who knows how long until the next step,,but with other bills still on the books,such as s 373,the fight will NEVER end,which is why it is so important to joing organizations like usark,and pijac,Lets face it,with reptiles and snakes,it will always be us against the world,and we was always be looked at funny,and if we slip up just a little bit,something can be passed under the radar,but as long as we stay informed,and fight respectfully,we hold our own destiny,and todays's hearing,and the guy from American Samoa,showed that,when he said the showing from the grassroots has been incredible
