I pin the mouse/rat down on a hard surface behind the neck with an old butter knife and pull the tail back until I feel a rip. The animal dies right away rarely is there even twitching afterwards.

what if: (dont know if its safe to do though) i let my hot scorpion sting the mouse then feed it so it will be paralyzed when consumed rather than suffocate to death or choked to death?

    Hi,

It's probably not safe and it certainly isn't humane or necessary.

It would still be choked or suffocated to death if you think it through anyway.

I think you should probably stop trying to think up inventive ways to kill or incapacitate the mouse and just use one of the proven, humane methods instead. In the end it might be worth your time building a co2 chamber with a regulator valve and bulk processing the rodents once a month or so and getting your snake to eat F/T. It is a bit more work initially but should save you a fair bit of time and effort as the time moves on.

Can you buy the rodents pre-killed or frozen anywhere close?

If he already eats pre-killed then that might be worth researching.
