I don't listen to Kanye because he sucks, but the bits I've heard of him talking remind me of the skit on In Living Color where the two homeboys were making up words... "I'm gonna matriculate to my domesticile..."

My biggest peeve (and there are a lot!) is the unnecessary use of apostrophes... just because thing's are plural doesn't mean they need apostrophe's!

Or when they use quotations for emphasis! I love this one!

What I really hate is when people say "supposably" lol.

    It's "supposedly" people! Come on!

That and my boyfriend and his entire family say "Flustrated" and don't even know that it's a made-up word combining "frustrated" and "flustered".

I can understand difficulty with pronouncing certain vowels or consonants that are slightly different than our own, but re-arranging the order of the letters in a word?

That's only forgivable if you are 4 years old or lysdexic.

Or in your 60's and going senile. Like the guy at work. He cracks me up but sometimes it gets annoying. For example, his "linky" (linksys) router, or "cabana" (kubuntu) linux.

    Edit: Just wanted to add...

I've been saying that ever since I saw Idiocracy. Scary ain't it?

The ones that get me the most are single words. Irregardless, flammable, misunderestimated... lol

I actually can't stand when people say "ChipotLe". Really, it should be said with an almost silent L, so "Chipolte" is a more correct sound to the proper pronunciation with the word. At least, when I asked a couple Mexican family friends who live by us, that was the explanation I received.
To be honest though, that restaurant is owned by McDonalds. So I could hardly care about it, except when my friends find beetles in their burritos.

I hate libary and "pitcher", when refering to a picture.

The chipotle thing doesn't bother me really :/ I say it "the right American way" though lol

There is also no such thing as an over-exaggeration.
An exaggeration is an exaggeration. You can't over-exaggerate an exaggeration. :D

Another one that irks me is affect and effect.
