    So, a few hours after feeding him, he's out and about exploring his home. Do they do this a lot, or do they normally just hunker down while they're trying to digest their food..?

    Mine usually sleeps, unless she doesn't get enough to eat. She will hide for at least 24 hrs. I was feeding her prey too small, and she would do the same yours is doing. He might still be hungry. I'm not seeing how old he is, but you can always try two hoppers, and if he takes it he's still hungry. If not, just take it back out, and wait 5 days.

    He's about 8 months old, roughly 20 inches long right now.
