08 Female Weights???

i voted 500 since there were no bigger options, my girl is well on her way to 700g by now, was 600g on the nose last time I weighed her.

there is no set weights as some 08's were hatched up to 11 months before some other 08's I have a may 08 pied that is over 700 grams and I have a july-aug 08 Black Pastel that is at 330 grams so its not so cut and dry I have a pewter that is a Jan hatch or 09 and Im sure that if I get a apr-nov 09 hatchling that my pewter will be heavier

There are many variables, hatch date (whether the snake hatch early in the year or later), weight out of the egg, how fast the animal got started, how big of a prey they are being offered and how often (some breeders offer food once a week some do once every 3 to 5 days)

I have a female that just weighs in at 120 grams (here is why http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=88610 ) while her clutch mate weighs 3 times as much.

And I also have a female over the 500 grams mark.

I forgot to mention that the spider was born in july and the cinnamon was born in june!:)

My Biggest '08 is around 500g, my smallest is 260g. And everyone else is on the higher end. If I were to buy an '08 right now, personally, I think I would try to shoot around or above the 400 range unless I knew the breeder and knew more history (Hatch date, feeding). The First question I ask about babies is hatch date, the I go from there...

I have a June hatch Mojave at 900g so I chose 500g

So those of us who have the 08 girls on the larger side of the scale when do you plan on breeding them?

in their 3rd winter like every other year that would make it 2010-2011 season

We have female 08's from 150 grams to 900 grams, depends on hatch date, prey and how fast they got started.
