drop the hot side temp down to a max of 96*. He is too hot that's why he won't sit still and is roaming. What is the humidity?

"when I handle him, basiaclly cupped in my hands, he heats up and wont sit still. "

when I put him away, he either sits in the hide on the cool end or in the open right in the middle. Mostly sits right in the middle.

3rd day after the vet visit, hes almost there. I cleaned a big peice of white solid gun from the perimeter of his mouth. Yesterday, it looked as part of his gums (imagine swollen gums) and I couldnt unattach it and get it off. Today, it was dry and peeling at the edges where it meets his mouth. He is so calm, almost seemingly "trusting". I got the stuff off with minimal resistance. He opend his mouth wide a few times and starts flickering his tongue, something I havent seen in 5 or 6 days. Still very active, more so now. Im going to see how hes doing tomorrow and turn down the heat a little. Hes not dried out, yet, nor does he feel / seem deydrated. Ive got one more shot to give him, todays, and the rate hes been impriving id say Saturday I shoudlnt be able to see any sign, already they are so mild at first look one couldnt tell.

Unrelated, Ive never had a hatchling, hes about a foot long and fits in one palm. But hes got the temperment of a puppy. why cant he just stay this way?!

So today is actually day 5 after the vet on Saturday. Still doing well. Seems to prefer it out in the open (semi covered in newspaper) right in the middle, center. His other favorite spot is the hide on the cool end. Still doing very well.
