share your wanted reptile list

I don't want any more critters right now as space is an issue, and my being away for a few days at a time for work or fun is another. So I'm happy with my little Pacific Island boa for now.

However, should things change in the near future... :D

My list would include:

Jackson's chameleon
Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko
Crested Gecko (almost bought a pair before getting the boa)
Tokay Gecko (I still want one)

Green Tree Python
Boa Constrictor
Ball Python (probably a piebald, but don't know enough about them to pinpoint a specific morph)
SIGB Isabel

I'm sure the list will grow as I learn more.

Within the next year:
Pair of het red anxanthhic BPs.
Super pastel BP female.
A pretty little pair of compatible crested geckos.

Someday:
Rufous beaked snake.

Probably never:
King cobra. Unless a devenomed one manages to show up on my doorstep, that is not going to happen. :(

a female mojave - to make pastaves with my pastel

an albino RTB - cuz they are secksey

a chondro - or maybe more than one, i love all GTP's my fav snake since i can remember

a yellow anaconda - male of course

albino monocle cobra - self explanitory

western diamondback - again, self explanitory

a chameleon - already have the enclosure, just waiting for finances to straighten up

a mangrove monitor - my fav monitor hands down

a cayman - love alligators but the size enclosure recquired isnt realistic to me

and plenty others i would love to have but i really want to make these few happen sometime in my life...

I've started looking into cinnamon BP morphs, I think I'm starting to really like them!
I've considered a chameleon, but I think I would stress it out too much...

I'd really like my next family addition to be a puppy. I haven't decided exactly what type of dog, but am waiting to find the right connection.

Of course, I'd love to add a few more reptiles too but need to reduce what's currently in my house first. I'd LOVE to find a motley sunglow corn, one of Kara's gorgeous red bloods, one of Kevin's sweet tokays. I'd also like a nice spider bp as well. So many wants, but I have to pace myself and be a bit realistic. I'm also leaning toward the SD retics.

Well the BF and I are looking for a new place to rent... We started looking for 2 bdrm places so I can have a reptile room... Right now we're starting to look at some 3 bdrm places... He thinks that means he can have a "weapons room" but really it just means that I can have a low humidity herp room (for bearded dragons and such) and a high humidity herp room (for frogs and such) lol. The place we're hopefully looking at this week has a basement too... So his weapons can share that space with the rodent colonys that will be down there... lol...

So if we do end up getting a big place and have enough room and $$$ then maybe a small portion of the list will actually happen :D

nicaraguan mini-boas (I just read about them in this really old issue or Reptiles.. There was a huge article about mini boas and I think the one I want is a nicaraguan... they max at like 4 feet and have really high rates of color morphs popping up... I must find out more!)

Hoggies! I literaly dreamt the other night that I had a little hoggie and it was head butting a f/t mouse and looking up at me all cute like. :tears: I need an albino hoggie :tears: lol

What's really bad is that I want to breed everything on my list! I think I have some sort of complex where I want to play god. lol. Or maybe it's a maternal instinct. I don't want to have any children myself but I want to create life. :confused:

Good call tigerlilly... I also want a Rottie puppy!!! But that's definitely on the "in my dreams" list for a while. I promised my kittie I wouldn't subject her to any more dogs. She's getting far too old to deal with a puppy.

For non-snakes herps, I'd like some cresties, a gargolye gecko, and a bearded dragon. And in terms of other pets, I'm the biggest dog-lover...would love to adopt a greyhound someday.

My list would be made up of:

any morph of bp's
black and white tegu
and dream line GTP.

I don't know if I'll ever get more (I'm not getting any younger!)

I've decided I am officially too old to get torts. sad but true. they'll outlive me for sure and that's not how I want to do things.
