    I say do it!

I would get my husbands name on me in a heart beat. We have only been together 6 years and I would do it no questions asked. I love him with all my heart, he is my best friend, and the father of my children. No matter what happens I will always love him for every reason I do today and wouldn't regret it. I would always think about all the great memories! After all, isn't the tat a representation of the good in the relationship?

This is true, and a heck of a lot cheaper than removal.

However, for this to work, it can't be really over the top...ie, not huge, really vivid colors (doable, but more creative solutions are needed).

I don't think I am the type that would do it, but I have a certain respect for the people that will literally wear their hearts on their sleeves.

I agree, just go with some standard black ink cursive. It looks good and says you love something enough to get it tatted and it can be changed, then you got nothin to worry about. My only other suggestion is if you don't already have tattoos make sure you look into your artist real good. Tattoo artists are like pet store owners, some are really bad and expensive I know from experience.

Go for it!!! A tattoo is just a tattoo. If something were to happen you can always laser or wrecking balm it....

I was just about to mention wreaking balm!!!!

I am also getting the serial # of my bike tattooed on me, so that shows you how much I love my wife ;)

My wife still plays with rubber duckies and really likes them so I figured get a tat of a yellow rubber ducky, and if any one questions my man hood over it forget em!

Plus I am quite fond of yellow rubber duckies....

I think it is a very nice homage Mike. :gj:

I err on the side of caution myself. Snakes and dead people are tatt candidates. :P

You will have to post pics when you get it done!

I have heard that it is bad luck (I am saving everyone my opinion on luck) also. I would say for you to do what you think is right. Sounds like you think it is the right thing to do and that is all that matters IMO!!! Go for it and post a pic so we can all check it out when it's done :gj: :D
