Re: Is it even a corn snake?
It appears to be the same snake to me. If you look at the second adult picture, you can see the same patterning. Certain snakes change (fade) pattern and color as they mature; most Rat snakes do.
I'd say it's either a Yellow Rat or a hybrid Yellow Rat.
I see a lot of what appears to be feces in that cage too.
Re: Is it even a corn snake?
I thought the same thing about the first pick not being the same snake. They are adamant about the fact that the first pick was taken as a juvenile and the rest are current. Being that it probably isn't a pure corn, I am going to steer clear of this one. Thanks for all of your replies.
Best,
Red

They can fade, but I don't think any go from having saddles to being striped. There is no way those are the same two snakes.
Re: Is it even a corn snake?
The first snake is most definitely not the same snake as in the other pictures. The rest of the pictures do look like the same, but not the first. And neither of those snakes appear to be 100% corns. For me, that would throw up a red flag. You may not be getting what you think you're getting. If you like either snake and don't mind that it isn't a pure corn, then that's a different story. But if you want a corn snake, I'd recommend looking somewhere else. When I was looking for a corn snake, I contacted these people and all were very nice and helpful, even though I did not end up buying from them in the end.

I do see what your saying, the saddles are still there in the later pics, but very light. Just barely discernible in this pic.

Re: Is it even a corn snake?
I think some people that are saying it is not the same snake may be making an assumption based on the fact that striped corns hatch striped...they don't get striped because their saddles fade out with time. But apparently yellow rat snakes do undergo a change like that. I goggled and found quite a few pics & descriptions. Here are links to some of the better ones:
Look at the juvie yellow rat snake pictured about half way down the page:

Here is an adult:

So I am inclined to believe it is the same snake. Definitely not a corn though.
