That depends on the garage. Some get very hot in summer and might kill your snake. Some get very cold in winter and you'd need to be very careful about your setup to be sure it could maintain proper temps.
No matter where you keep it, you'll need proper equipment to maintain the proper temps.

I don't suggest keeping a ball python in your garage, because the temp fluctuations would make it very difficult to maintain proper temps.

The garage is a very bad idea. Under your bed would be much better than the garage. If you have a situation that's keeping you from bringing a BP into your house, you may just want to wait until your situation changes.

yeas its just my dad thinks that they smell and i keep telling him that they dont if you clean up the cage any sujestions on try to convince him?

Explain to your Dad that one of the big advantages to BPs and snakes in general is that they don't smell. Casually mention to him that if snakes smelled, they wouldn't last very long in the wild. Stealth and not smelling bad means many predators pass right by.
