    As far as pattern I think a nice variety would be very interesting to most people. Personally I like the heavy thing so they silly buggers don't flip it constantly or drag it all over the place (my biggest complaints with plastic hides). They might not be feasible for the bigger keeper due to working with so many hides but then a lot of bigger breeders use racks and don't even use hides. For the pet keeper though I think an option for hides other than the junk the pet stores sell would be a fine thing.
