    hold back some of those babies perhaps later down the road youll produce more blues

    Thank you for the offer Jo...I think we may take you up on that when we make arrangements to go to the Taylor show.

    She is acting like a rat again, so we thought she was done, but since 7 o clock she had at least 1 more still born.

    Just let me know when you are going and I'll grab up a few for you. Heck I have so many I regularily feed off blues, they aren't uncommon in my rat colony at this point.

    I had a rat years back that I took out of a pet store. Hugely pregnant, left in with a tank of adult male rats, she was a mess. Bleed like a stuck pig when she birthed her litter. I figured she was a goner, fostered off her litter and prepared to put her down or find her dead. She recovered and after a long rest and good eats - her next litter was 18! She went on to be the best breeder rat I've ever owned, consistently producing huge litters with 100% survival of all of them.
