thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I got a nice, big tub out and put his hides and water dish in there with newspaper. I dipped Ramesses in a large water bowl to get the mites off and let him slide though a towel (like in shedding) to be sure they were gone. He is now chillin in his new mite-less home and I'm itchy just thinking about it so a shower sounds nice...
Hm. Empty fifty gallon...maybe its time for that Oscar fish I've always wanted.
