Congrats brotha, emperors are sweet, I'm allergic to bees though so every time I take my buddies emperor Ares out I get a little nervous. Awesome though and I hope it all goes well.

It took her two days to have them all and the total count is 11. On the third day I offered her a large cricket from the tongs and she ate it. So far she has not ate any of her babies. I am going to keep her in her 5 gallon tank for a few months to fatten her back up and get her strength back up then put her back in the big tank with the other female and male. Thanks for the responses!!! It does mean a lot to me to see people happy for something I am excited about!!! Thanks again :gj:

    Hi,

Is she any different in her attitude to you? Any more or less handleable?

Not that I'm suggesting handling with the lil white babies I just wondered if she had got all feisty and sting-happy. :P

She is a bit more aggressive but not trying to sting at all. She has always been a bit more aggressive then my other two though. If I want to pick her up (which is not often) I have to cup her first then let her crawl on my hand. Some people like to tail their scorpions but if you try that with her she will flip out. I went in her tank to adjust her thermostat probe and the thermometer probe in the tank and she was VERY jumpy and wanted me out asap. Just being a good mom IMO. But I definately say she is more testy now then usual but not stinging at all :gj:
