My husband banned me from QVC and HSN. :oops:

I got the Miracle Blade III, Set it and forget it, hip hop abs, peticure among a gazillion others.

Still on my wish list: pixo, smooth away, aquaglobe, bendaroos, sham-wow, that floor mop that uses steam, ped egg, etc. etc. etc... if my husband ever gives me back my credit card.

I don't watch TV... but I turn it on if I'm still up at 2AM! :banana::banana::banana:

I am so glad I live with someone who was banned from cable (by me) years ago. :)

I accidentally walked in front of a TV a few months back and saw an ad for some hideous thing. A blanket with a hood and armholes (?)... because a blanket was too cumbersome, and a hoodie... I guess just did not look stupid enough?

That is enough to keep me going for the next ten years.

I see a few and most I ignore, however I happen to have a thing for knives (no im not a pycho crazy person) I just like to collect them, and I really hate trying to prepare food with ones to small and dull. So I did see the miracle knives and that product does do as they show. Cool thing is there is a store at the mall that is calles showcae and all it sells is stuff from infomercials, so I bought the knives there. I love them , ill never have to buy knives agian.
I also got a product called quantum heat packs ( http://quantumheatpacks.com/ ) and I will swear by these, totally awsome product. I use them to heat the carrier for my reptiles.

OH A SNUGGIE! I WANTED THAT TOO!

By the way, I'm not stupid or anything... got a computer engineering degree and all... but, some people love to smoke, I love to be "sold on" infomercials! :rolleye2:

So, like this Snuggie thing... like the Miracle Blade III it is the absolute best in salesmanship :rolleyes:. So, there's this girl who is wrapped in a regular blanket trying to reach for the phone and couldn't because her hands are trapped by the blanket. She has that expression that says... c'mon, we launched a rocket to the moon yet we can't figure out a way to get my hands out of the blanket to grab a phone! Okay, so then this girl gets a uber-modern snuggie and easily reaches for the chordless phone circa 1980... :taz: It's awesome! And then you see the whole family wearing snuggies surrounded by normal-coat-wearing people in a ball game. They look like the blanket cult from the alien mothership. And if you call within the next 10 minutes (commercial is on all night long) you will get a free book light. Now, this is really amazing. I mean, the market analysts are very busy trying to figure out which one to sell and which one to give away as free. Because, the book light could easily be the informecial with a free snuggie if you call within the next 10 minutes. Both are the same level of crapiness... er, genius.

Like that Miracle Blade III... guy starts cutting drywall with his Miracle Blade III. Then guy throws a tomato in the air, drops it on the upturned blade and it slices the tomato like jet li's samurai... pretty cool... and then there's the rock and chop. Knife cuts like Iron Chef by just rocking the blade back and forth over an onion. And if you call within the next 10 minutes, you get another set of miracle blade III free! I had to buy it. It's an amazing piece of "craptastic" salesmanship! I love it! :D:D:D

I thought that when I saw the shot of them all sitting around in their FUGLIES... Pod People!

Well - my sister got me the SAME thing for Christmas one year, except, it was called a "Slanket"... blanket with sleeves. It's quite cozy :)

I personally LOVE my Snuggie and my Ped Egg. But then again, I'm a sucker for a craptastic commercial. :-) My daughter seems to have inherited this quality. Which is why we have Bendaroos, Floam, and Moon Sand. Lol.

Oh yea! Moon Sand! We got moon sand too! And what about that egg peeler? You got that one? I have it too. It's a great piece of engineering genius. :D Oh, and I got George Foreman's grill from the infomercials before it hit the stores.

Yeah, it's a sickness!

That ped egg commercial makes me want to puke everytime I see it. When they empty the thing, and all that skin comes out. *BARF* :puke:
