if the tank is too big he might not feel secure, ball pythons spend most of their time in burrows underground, bigger enclosures might be more stressful be sure to have hides on both sides

Personal experience: I have a 900g bp in a 55gal exo-terra tank. She's a finicky eater and last month she went 6 weeks without eating. So, I moved her to a 20gallon 2 weeks ago. She ate that week. And the week after. So, yeah, I don't know if it's the tank or if it's just "time" for her to eat. But, I really don't see much difference between the 20L and the 55gal since she doesn't ever leave that hide except to move to the other hide. She gets her "stretching" 5 days a week when she gets handled. The kids keep the snakes out for quite a bit at night except after feeding day. We only have 4 snakes, though. When she gets about 1500g, I'll up her to a 30L.

she might have ate becuase she felt less stressed in the smaller tank ;)

Its settled then, i'm going to move him to a smaller tank and try again in a week or so. Thank you for all your help, im sure my BP thanks you to =)

Yes I know and agree!:gj: I will have 3 hides( two rbi x-large hides cause the larges are to small and I ceramic rock hide) and plenty of clutter(plastic plants and such) so that he does feel secure.
