Just watch the towel for bacteria growth. I use a damp small towel on my two glass tank/mesh lid setups only during shed cycles so it's not so much of a worry but if you are going to use this all the time make sure to change out and wash that towel regularily in hot, bleach water.

well i pulled out the half log, and coconut shell and got 2 more flower pots, put one in the middle of the tank, and another one on the cooler side. the damp towel works awesome. i just get it nice and wet just enough to where it wont drip, and put it over 4/5ths of the tank. keeps my humidity a nice 55-65 constantly. i only have to get the towel wet once a day.

i do have another question though. spring break is getting ready to come and i have to leave my dorm room. RAs will inspect everyones room so im gonna have to take my girl home my question is, can i put her in the box that came with her when i got er from petco, its gonna be about a hour and a half drive.???

    what do you guys recomend.

one more thing, i got her sunday, and im wondering on when i should feed her, ive herd some people say let them sit in the tank for 3 weeks b4 you start feeding. the manager at the pet store said she eats frozen thawed and that shes a good eater but he could have been just lied to me about the good feeder part.

anything i should do to make feeding both effective and good for her

If you got her this past Sunday, wait a week and feed her this Sunday. If she doesn't eat for you, wait a week and try again.
