Maintaining humidity is a breeze, temps are schweet. In any case, learn what makes your snake comfortable and stress free, its not always going to be exactly what you're told here. If they're eating, not making any clicking or popping noises, shedding as they should (not always going to be in one or two pieces) then they're happy and you should be too. Best of luck mate!

What clicking or popping noises does a snake make?

A hiding BP is a happy BP!

A snake that is not hidden most of the time is usually stressed out...

A snake that has a respiratory infection will make this noise.

If it is night time and he is cruising around, its fine. But if you see him out often during the day, then you should be a bit concerned. Sounds like he is eating for you so that is good!

Well it's quarter of ten here and he was in his hide when I got home so I'm not to worried about it. I'll see what happens tomorrow and go from there.

Based on everyones input from the site I redid the tank this afternoon. On the bottom is repti-carpet to heep the snake from ever reaching the UTH. On top of that is some Coco-Soft snake bedding, mixed in with a few fake plants, a nice water dish and some cool lookin indian hut hides. (AKA terra Cotta with a nice hole cut in the side) Ignore the cheapo stick on thermometer, that's not used as i have an accu-rite hiding behind the hide. As soon as my Thermometer shows up for the UTH I should be in perfect shape:banana: Thanks for all the input!!

FYI- This hobby is addicting.... I hung out with a Columbian Boa for about 3 hours this afternoon, she may just have a spot in my living room right off soon.
