    i know exactly what you mean. back in the day i didn't think they would bite, i reached my hand in the cage and learned otherwise. hurt worse than any ball bite i have had yet.

    You are lucky it was only one, and that you had backup. I had three hamsters escape over the weekend, while I was on vacation, and someone else was house sitting. My cat was worthless in this matter.:mad: I just cought them all today. I am so lucky I did. Two of them were pregnant.:O If they were missing for 1 more week, I would never hear the end of the scratching in the wall.:rolleye2:

    yeah i was plannin on grabbing it with the tongs but it went all jackie chan and jumped off the tongs runnin across the floor with the beagle wildly in chase. it had no chance that dog was on a mission, the dog loves watching me feed the snakes.
