.... and I can see where you are coming from too. Of course there is a chance that the baby could be het, a possiblity yes, but to my way of thinking a 'possible het' means more than that, it means that one of the parents did carry the gene and with the breeding that has been done here there is a possibility that the father did not carry the gene.

I think that we are looking at this from different angles, you from the angle of 'well it is possible' and me from the angle of 'but there is a good chance that it is impossible'.

Hey ho, all good fun and what Forums are all about, throwing ideas around. :)

The reason for the female being bred to a het male and an albino is that I had a het albino male. I introduced her to him but never saw locks. I got a chance at breeding her to the other balls. IF I get normal looking animals I will just sell them as normals. I will tell the owners that there is a chance at being het albino. I don't know if she took at all because after the qt time we only had got a few locks with her before we felt her folicals so she might throw all slugs (the luck I am having this year I will get all slugs). But the chance was there and I thought I would take it. Also she is poss het for albino, so breeding her to the albino was to see if I got albinos, if I get no albinos this year I MIGHT try breeding her to an albino next year, but most likely she will be with my pastel. I have almost given up on getting any albinos out of my stock (both are poss het). I no longer have my het male albino, only have my male pastel.
What ever she gives me will be nice babies. Last year she gave me some killer normals.

I do so hope that you get a lovely, large, healthy clutch of babies - whoever the father is. If you get an Albino it will be the cherry on the cake. All the very best this coming year, hope all goes really well for you and your snakes.
