scale rot?

hopefully she wont but if she does there isnt anything you can do she should be treated. also 45min in water is that long enough to get to advanced stages of scale rot? im more inclined ot think this was starting a while back and you noticed when it blistered.

will make sure to do that. thanks for all your help. it did start to happen a while back but i disregarded it like a Dumb*** and it really progressed. im gonna take her to a vet tomorrow that's number was given to me by a breeder at a local reptile show so she will be getting the best care available. ill keep everybody updated tomorrow as to what the vet says. thanks again guys.

94 is not too hot, and I would not remove all water from the enclosure. I would just make sure the water bowl is not big enough to soak in, since this is what you want to prevent. You do not want your snake more dehydrated since that blistering is leeching water from the snake's system.

I agree that you shouldn't be as concerned about a regurg as your need to treat that belly as soon as possible. Plus the likelihood of the vet seeing you first thing in the morning is very slim, so you'll most likely be okay in that regard anyway. Just be careful and as gentle as possible when you do transport your snake.

well its been 10 days and i thought i would update on my girls progress. the vet diagnosed it as retained shed and dermatitis. this kinda threw me cause i never knew snakes could get dermatitis, but here are some pics of her now.

this is also what the vet prescribed to put on her twice a day. its sodium chloride mixed with something.

yea there's still a little redness, but i have never seen a case of snake dermatitis that's kinda odd dont ya think.

My first female normal had that once. It never was that bad and went away. I assumed it was because she had moved all her bedding away and was laying right on the heat pad. That was before I had a thermostat. Glad shes doing ok.

looks 1000000000% better amazing! :) verry glad to see that its being resolved. im still very sure its scale rot. the vet just called it by a different name. it looked to much like scale rot thats for sure.
