They keep very differently from BPs. I've never had to worry about bites or strikes from the BPs I've encounters, except the occasional badly condition ones.
But with the young JCP, they kinda have the impression that anything warm and moves is food, especially fingers. I have one female that never fails to tag me at least twice when I try to handle her. They're long and slender snakes that are very unlike BPs. They move really fast for something that long and tend to run away or strike when frightened.
