If he's paying for them he should be able do have what ever tire mfg he wants...But oh yea..nascar will only let it go on if everything is completely uniform

I give my tickets away every year, but they should not have called that race so soon, they have had longer rain delays in the past.

If Tony is paying for his own tires why not use what you want, besides the fact that NASCAR probably dictates what they must use.

I totally agree with you guys, but NASCAR is a dictatorship, and if you don't run by their rules, ya don't run.

Thats exactly the reason that Dodge was out of nascar for so long. They were dominating so much with the HEMI that nascar said not uh and Dodge pretty much fell off and quit wasting their money with it(This information from my dad's mouth...Not exactly sure of the accuracy). If you look at these cars, none of them look like stock cars. They look like 43 exact replicas with different brand names on them. It's almost pointless, I think it would be a lot better if they went back and made it like it seems like it used to be, when you had the dodge daytonas & whatever else other people ran...I think it would definitely make it a lot more interesting than it is now where you have 43 cars that weigh the exact same, are the same height off the ground and have ~ the same HP

Here we are getting ready for Week 2, in California. Looks like tires won't be an issue this week, but gas mileage might play a factor.

Kyle Bush just won the Truck Race, and says he want's to sweep the weekend!

    California Speedway Wrap-up

So, the 17 car wins again.....

I think NASCAR outta' take a closer look at those Fords:weirdface Might be a little sumpin' sumpin' going on with those blue ovals.

Gordon had another good run, but for the second week in a row his tires gave out before he could take advantage of how good his car was. He's always had good runs in Vegas, so maybe next week he'll finally knock the 17 car off the top spot.

My boy Tony had a so-so outing. Top ten, which is good, but the car didn't seem to be set up well right from the start. And, Ryan Newman seems to be snake-bit this year with all his bad luck.
