Some petstores have sales people with no animal knowlage and just tons of fear. when i got my pixie they had no idea how to pick it up as they stopped doing it after she started to "lunge". They couldn't handle nor give proper husbandry for the frog they should have been fired!

Marsh, I would not use that product, but instead take your animal to a qualified herp vet. Review your husbandry. Snakes often do not get sick out of the blue, it sounds like you need to review your husbandry first to make sure that it is 100% spot on. We have a caresheet here on this website you can read and review.
Also, please make a new thread in the BP section about your animal, tagging it onto an older blood post isn't the correct placement.
