My snake just ate a live mouse

yeah, i wasnt quite sure how to word it.
but. he looks to be just fine :)

Snake should be fine.

As for your nerves it can bother some people particularly the first time it happens.

And then for the mouse side of the equation, I'm pretty sure its a gonner. :)

It is not unusual with colubrids, all mine I have done it and one of my female milk still does from time to times even with rat fuzzies :rolleyes:

this guy has always had trouble eating..
he had somethng droped on his head the 1st week we got him :( and so i tihnk it damaged his eating ability.
he ALWAYS bites and trys to eat stuff from the side instead of head.. and now.. decides to down it live, but yet when there dead he will sit there with it wrapped up for a good 10 minutes.. oh well.. as long as he eats it in the end.. im happy :)

hey. don't wanna jack the thread or anything but i was wondering... kings are colubrids right? not classified as true constrictors? is that right or is that something my demented subconscious made up?
