If you are having Fed Ex shipments showing up after 10:30 am, I would check with the seller on the service they chose. Fed Ex guarantees delivery by 10:00. If they are not showing up by then, you are entitled to at least a partial refund.

Anything I have shipped or received from Fed Ex usually arrives around 9 am. Check your labels and make sure you are getting the service you paid for.

Unfortunately, on time delivery seems to be determined by individual driver's routes. Both FedEx & UPS only guarantee noon to my house when you choose 10:30 delivery time (some areas are even end of day). Even so, UPS usually delivers between 9:15 and 11:00 (with 10:00 most of the time) - depending on who the driver is. FedEx arrives at exactly noon half the time, the other half it is more like 3:00 or even 6:00.

It's up to the shipper to ask for the refund & I think it is really important to do so. If we don't call them on late deliveries, where is the incentive to deliver on time? My FedEx driver seems to think it is entirely optional deliver packages on time.

I ship geckos UPS exclusively and I am so excited about the prospect of being able to ship snakes that way as well. I buy my UPS labels in bulk and so I get a great deal - although it does suck to pay for 25 labels at a time. My rate is better than the 30% off, but if it means I can ship snakes legitimately through UPS - WOOHOO!
