do you feed in a seperate tank? if so put the snake in the seperate enclosure with heat and a hide. let it be for about an half hr and then put the mouse/rat in there and wait. she will slowly take her head out and look for her prey, when the prey comes close enough shell grab it. if she eats in her enclosure just put the live mouse in there and wait till she hunts it down.
