Thanks for the tip Daniel, I'll try it out! If we could sex cresteds younger than 3-5 months that would be awesome, and this is also be a great way to double check when pore sexing.

You could probably do it with the gecko on top of a piece of glass or plexiglass, but IMO it would be easier just to hold them so that you can keep them still while you work with them and also so you can turn them and adjust the light more easily. I can't imagine trying to use this method on a crested, loose and sitting on top of something...boing-boing-boing-off-into-space!
