    Reflectix is a lot better than foil, idk about the foam board...

    Insulate by first covering the back and sides with whatever background you want. Then, add the foam house board (seen in pic), then reflectix if needed. The foil is best on the screen top for insulation and humidity retention.

    That tank has the foam board and the foil treatment on the screen side of the top (it has a screen/glass top. I'm seeing how well that works). So far, the temps are right on and the humidity is being difficult but isn't horrid. :)
