Lol yeah they are called hoppers for a reason! :D

And they keep hopping the little :cens0r: until around weaning age, and I hate it! :rage: I sit there and have them walk around on my hand for a little bit so that I can sex them and separate the females from the males and all of the sudden SWOOSH and it's gone! And they are damn fast! :rage:

So for me, I don't separate them anymore. :D

    P.S Sorry for OT

I had a weanling escape the other day when I was trying to sex it to know which grow up tank to put it in. I have seen it, put out humane traps, but so far have not caught it.

Back on topic - I agree with those that say that mouse is probably a bit older than a hopper. Your BP probably could eat it, unless she is a very new hatchling and/or very small. However, if she is refusing it, she might feel more secure with a smaller meal. Or it might be something like she is in shed, or any number of other reasons why she refused it.

Good catch! I could have sworn it said BP in one of the OPs posts. If it isn't a BP, disregard what I said about the appropriateness of the size of the mouse.
