Well actually it does look like some kind of cross between a fire and a pastel. It isn't, but yeah, if that proves out to be a new line of pastel that'd be great.

This is the captive hatched father and offspring picture taken around first of Jan. I am pairing founding male with 3-4 normals and a couple of morphs in order tho find out what is going on with him genetically.

The combo male will be bred to 3-5 morphs and a couple "very light normals" I have been saving for him.

Eric Davies has seen him and is certain he will produce a black eyed Lucy down the road. He also feels there is an "Axanthic quality" about him that separates him, at least visually, from Fires and Sulphers. Is there a second gene in him? Don't know.

He was bred to an "slightly above average" Lemon Pastel. Little doubt that it is the male that influenced the combo offspring and not the Pastel mother. We shall see. I'll post my findings as the season unfolds. :D

Just out of curiousity does he have a clear belly or anything that really stood out that made you decide to try him?

    Amazing snake thats for sure.

In person, one would never have to even look at this snakes belly to know you were going to breed him. ;)

He has similar markings of a "Fire type morph". Although, he is much lighter than most most Fires I have seen, and has those KILLER burnouts over his entire back. As you can see in this photo, he has an extreme Fire belly.

He is breeding up a storm so far, and this season should display some answers as to what his "deal" is.

Bill after working with fires for ahwile I fell that is definitely a fire in some form. It may have something else going on perhaps yellowbelly fire? You'll figure it out in time! Nice snake for sure!
