How do you sex your hatchlings?

I pop them right out of the egg.

Males I will pop no more.

Females I will pop once more, usually after their first shed. Had an occasion where I thought I had a female pastel and turned out male.

I pop my hatchlings right out of the egg.

pop them after the first bath.

Same here, after I know I have a male its no problem. But keep checking the females to make sure I didn't screw up.

I pop after a few days no later than a week after hatching.
Males pop once.
Females.. Pop POp POP.. all day long. Joking. But I do check a few more times.

I had a so called female for almost 2 years then popped sperm plugs and probed and popped as a male. I was still new to popping back then.

That reminds me I am gonna check my so called '08 females again.:please:

I pop them after they are all out...and yeah I check the females over again.

I wait until after first shed to pop.

I pop twice out of the egg, then I pop about a week later.

I suck at popping, but babies are so easy. Just have to look at them sideways and they are dumping the goods out for ya.

I pop them the first time after they hatch and are cleaned up. Like most here I recheck any that don't have obvious hemipenes a couple of time over the following weeks of their life. Sometimes this involves cleaning myself up. Pretty amazing just how far a baby ball python can shoot pee at you if you mess with it's best bits LOL.
