    my water bowl is a Tupperware with a door style lid and a large hole in a side (helps prevent the crusty film that usually bakes onto my bowl) and my girl will occasionally go in there and rest her head outside of it on a rock and then when she leaves she leaves behind a nice poop in the water :)

    different snakes like to do different stuff, your guy might just like to go for the occasional dip to cool off!!
