Snatches of Conversation

Well, it must have been, I know you can't hear my accent from there..... Ha ha....

Quantity and quality, we've heard snatches of both.

Ok, here's one from when I was browsing at Barnes & Noble this evening...

WHO'S MY BABYCAKES?! WHO'S MY SWEET BABYCAKES?! DID SHE SMILE?! I COULD HEAR HER SMILING?!

It was painful...

This one was pretty cool and a complete first.

I was showing a classroom full of kindergardeners some snake and while they were looking and touching one little bitty thing piped up and said "touching a snake feels like touching a soft jewel."

In a bazillion years of kids and snakes I have never heard that description before.

I heard this one while I/me was talking to Myself in regards to a puppy the son of a good friend of mine is about to get. Thinking I would post pics of this puppy but not tell anyone whose it was lead to this snatch:

I can't tell you whose though (regarding the puppy that may or may not be pictured later) because that makes people wonder.

And wondering leads people to thinking.

And thinking leads people to curiousity.

And curiousity killed the cat.

And I hate cats.

Now here's the weird part. I never knew that I/me hated cats. Me, myself and I have had many a conversation about many an animal and never once did any of me state that we, collectively, hated cats.

It's gotta be the moon. It's darn near full.

Cruising down the row at the farmers market and I hear two what two women conversating....."what we should do," the taller one said to the shorter darkhaired one, "is take all our money out of the banks."

"It's ridiculous paying them these bonuses," the shorter one said, "when they've lost so much money. Why reward them?"

To which the taller one replied, "It would finally get their attention if we withdrew all our money. Then they would have to pay attention to us."

Could it be that easy?

If we all took our money out of the banks that have so SCREWED us and are still awarding bonuses to their execs., would that make a change for the better?
